Internal Medicine Department

INTERNAL MEDICINE DEPARTMENT VIP and PRIVATE WING Bugando Medical Centre has new and renovated Private and VIP wings which caters for patients who would prefer to have such services. The Private Wing has 38 beds including a 5 beds High Dependence Unit (HDU) with 24 hours critical nursing services. There are 5 rooms, each room containing 5 beds that are well partitioned for privacy and share 2 bathrooms and toilets. The rooms are all equipped with an alarm system to call for any help or assistance from a nursing station. The Private Wing has also Mini-VIP rooms that contain 2 beds with 1 bathroom and a toilet, Television, fridge and a water heater. Medical services include daily specialist rounds and nursing services. The VIP wing has 18 rooms and each room has 2 beds for the patient and his or her relative. The rooms are furnished with a TV, air condition and a free WiFi. Medical services include daily medical specialist round, around the clock nursing services as well as fast tracked laboratory and imaging services.
