She is a Professional Registered Nurse. After completion of her diploma nursing program in 1974 at Muhimbili School of Nursing in Dar-es-Salaam she was posted at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center by the MoH by then. She worked for three years in different units- in theater, gynecological, medical and surgical wards and lastly in the Adult Medical Intensive Care Unit as the ward in-charge before she went for her Diploma in Nursing Education where she completed successfully
Ms. Anastazia has the background in nursing, midwifery and education. Nursing and midwifery from Bugando School of Nursing; Advanced Diploma in Nursing Education from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, Master of Art in Nursing from University of South Africa and also Master of Education, Administration, planning and policy studies from Open University of Tanzania.
