»  Contemporary work in global health has focused on local capacity building and infrastructure development. This model can further applied to the support of health care and public health training programs, such as building an area of concentration around technology-based methodology for methodology for supporting evidence-based decision-making.

» The School of Public Health at CUHAS focuses in becoming a leader in population health and disaster Geographic Information System (GIS). Projects developed within the GIS speciality area address local needs, preferences, interests, priorities, and resources.

Students and Stakeholders become advanced in:

  1. Basic health and disaster GIS ground work (conceptual, Practical, and technical aspects).

  2. Establishment of evidence-based projects to support public health, health service delivery, and disaster management decision-making.
